"don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does"

Matthew 6:3 "But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does"

Someone listened to my podcast and wrote me a beautiful e-mail a few weeks back about how he changed his diet and has massively improved his overall mood and depressive symptoms. 

He then decided to donate money. There was no obligation to do it. I didn't ask, he didn't want the attention or admiration. 

People have also done this through Patreon and other methods in the past to support my videos and podcast. 

When kindness is pure, it comes from the soul. There's no agenda and no catch, it's just the rawest of human love. 

When we give and do it from that place, that's peace man. No casper mattress can give you a better sleep! No lavendar oils! No ocean waves! No posturepedic man!! (first time I've ever written that word) It's all in the intentions of our actions that let us sink into a delicious snooze. 

The "shiny object syndrome" of today means we're pulled in all sorts of directions and influenced by so much. We lose our compass, we lose ourselves, we lose direction. 

What happens if we listen to the soul rather than the mind? What if we just do the things we know are right? What trajectory would we move in if the ultimate goal was to nourish the soul?

So much love to this person and so happy he's feeling better. We're all in this together baby.
